Louise qualified from Guys Dental Hospital in 1987. In 1990 she opened Louise Lunness-Barnes Dental Clinic in Allington Drive. Her special interests are oral rehabilitation to give you the most comfortable and aesthetically pleasing smile that she can, dental sleep medicine and the management of occlusal and temporomandibular joint problems. She has attended numerous courses on dental sleep medicine and temporomandibular joint disorders both in the UK and abroad and has completed the Dawson Academy Core Curriculum. She is an accredited member of The European Society of Dental Sleep Medicine, a gold member of the British Dental Bleaching Society, and a member of the British Dental Association, the Dawson Academy and The British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine.

When not running the Dental Clinic and caring for her patients, she and her husband can be found looking after their four dogs, being out and about in the country, tending a rather large garden or cooking…..life is always busy!

Sarina graduated from Barts and The London University in 2010. She went on to complete vocational training in Rye East Sussex and in Kent, which included a year as an SHO in Restorative dentistry and Orthodontics.

In 2019 she started work at Louise Lunness Barnes Dental Clinic.

Sarina has stayed dedicated to becoming ever more skilled by embarking on courses so that she can provide the best treatment for her patients. She is a trained Invisalign and Botox provider.

Emma started her dental career in 2004 as a dental nurse and went on to undertake the national exam for dental nurses in 2005, qualifying in 2006. Emma continued dental nursing for five years before deciding to train to become a hygienist. In early 2009, Emma joined the school of Dental Hygiene and Therapy at King's College Hospital. She went on to qualify with a double diploma in dental hygiene and therapy in 2011 and received an award for professionalism during her course.

Emma joined the team in January 2012 and has an excellent rapport with her patients and staff alike. She also works in a periodontal practice in London. She continues to attend CPD courses in order to keep up to date with the latest changes in dentistry.

My name is Mr Franklin Amadi 😊

You can call me: Franklin, Frank, F, Mr Amadi in any particular order (just not all at the same time)! To be Frank, call me what you like so long as it's not dentist as there are laws against that haha.

I am a dental hygienist and if you are booked for an appointment to see me, we can have a friendly discussion about your oral hygiene routine where you are free to ask as many (or as few questions) as you want. I will perform a clinical examination where I look into your mouth and record what we find, most notably your gum health at that moment. Where appropriate advice to help maintain/improve your gum health is given including the in-mouth demonstration of interdental aids. Depending on what the current Covid regulations are, your teeth and gums will be cleaned exclusively with hand instruments and possibly an aerosol generating ultrasonic device will be used.

Nyree started her dental career in 1987 as a trainee dental nurse and went on to undertake the national exam for dental nurses in 1991. Nyree later moved into management and passed the BTEC Professional Diploma in Dental Practice management in 2007.

Nyree joined the team in December 2017 and along with the day to day running of the practice is responsible for ensuring that the practice is fully compliant with all legislation.

Lorraine began her Dental Nursing career in 1979 and gained the NEBDN certificate in 1983 from The Royal Dental Hospital in Leicester Square. Over her career she has worked in community dentistry, maxilla facial and even several months of agency nursing. After a short break due to starting a family, Lorraine joined Louise at Allington Drive in 1996.

Nuria began her career in dentistry as a trainee dental nurse in 2011. In 2013 she completed her Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Dental Nursing and has been working as a qualified registered dental nurse since then in both private and NHS dental clinics. She also has 6 years of reception experience.

Nuria joined the team in 2017 and works both in clinic and on reception.

Kam started her career in dentistry at a practice in Gravesend in March 1997 and achieved her NEBDN Dental Nursing qualification in 2001. After qualifying, she worked with an agency for a year locuming in practices all over Kent and South London. In April 2002 she joined a practice in Sidcup and stayed there until joining our practice in October 2021.

Hello I’m Hollie, I joined Louise Lunness-Barnes dental clinic June 2022 as a trainee dental nurse which at the end I will achieve my NVQ Level 3 in dental nursing. I previously started my dental career in February 2021 I have worked in both NHS and private clinics, I work both reception and in clinic. Before my dental career I was a hairstylist which I have been in the hair industry for over 10 years.

Luan's dental journey started in 1987. She began working for Louise in 1990, primarily as a dental nurse before gradually transferring over to reception.

Tracey has come from a very busy Administrative and Reception position before joining the dental practice in September 2020. Tracey currently uses her skills to ensure that Reception and all day-to-day reception administration is kept up to date and runs smoothly.

CSU Assistant

Liz has had many jobs over the years ranging from working in an office in the city, which she left to raise her daughter, to working in a pharmacy, supermarket and selling curtains and bedding.

She joined the team in 2009 and runs the central sterilization unit where she is responsible for the cleaning and sterilization of all reusable dental instruments, maintaining equipment and reordering of dental stock supplies.
